About Our Host
Nicole Strickland has been fascinated by and interested in the afterlife and paranormal since childhood. After a profound experience with her grandmother's spirit in 2000, she has been on a quest to investigate and study life after death and paranormal phenomena.
Nicole is the founder and director of the San Diego Paranormal Research Society and California Coordinator to the Ghost Research Society. She is also a bestselling and multi-published author and often gives presentations about ghosts, haunted locations, and parapsychological fields at conferences, events, and libraries.
Nicole has been featured in numerous media outlets, including local & national television, documentary film, magazines, newspapers, and in hundreds of radio shows & podcasts.
Full Biography
One of the leading paranormal researchers on the West Coast, Nicole is the founder and director of the well-respected San Diego Paranormal Research Society and California Coordinator for the Ghost Research Society. She's a consultant to various paranormal teams.
Nicole is a bestselling and multi-published author. In addition to being traditionally published, she created her own publishing imprint, Kayli Max Books in honor of her cats, Max and Kayli. Her books include:

Nicole is known internationally for her research into and knowledge of the iconic RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. She's presented about the ship's history and noted paranormal phenomena at conferences, libraries as well as in various media outlets.
Ms. Strickland has presented on a variety of topics related to the afterlife and paranormal at some of the best-known conventions, including the Oregon Ghost Conference, Port Gamble Ghost Conference, Troy Taylor's Haunted America Conference, Maritime Ghost Conference, Preston Castle Paracon, Ghost Fest IV, Strange Escapes, OC Paracon, USS Hornet, among others. She's represented by RK Entertainment.
Nicole has been featured in numerous media outlets. Local San Diego TV appearances include Good Morning San Diego, San Diego Living, KPBS Evening Edition, and Channel 8's morning and evening news editions. National TV appearances range from Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures, Ghost Stories, and Famously Afraid, BIO's My Ghost Story: Caught on Camera, and Paranormal Journeys. She has an impressive amount of spotlights in newspapers, magazines, and on hundreds of radio shows and podcasts.
Nicole is no stranger to podcasting. Along with notable radio host Todd Bates, she co-hosted Haunted Voices Radio, one of the longest-running shows in paranormal programming. She hosts and produces the acclaimed show, The Afterlife Chronicles, selected by Feedspot as one of the top 25 programs on life after death and one of the top 80 one-hour podcasts. Nicole's also the brain child behind the Life Inspiration Project, a new podcast that delves into the heart of inspiration and shares uplifting stories designed to brighten the world.
Ms. Strickland is a proud graduate of the University of Arizona (B.S.) and National University (M.S.) and soon plans to pursue a PhD in parapsychology. She resides in San Diego, California
